Basically, a new alternative to SurferSEO + NeuronWriter has been released.
Content Audit
In my opinion, it’s pretty weak and doesn’t make much sense:
It shows numbers, but it’s unclear how to improve. And you can’t see the top 10 competitors or their scores.
Content Editor.
First look: it also has NLP Entities + optimization like SurferSEO and NeuronWriter, but gives a noticeably lower score—43 instead of 67 in Neuron. For the #1 guy, it showed 53, which is quite low for an optimized article. Maybe they will adjust this scoring later.
There is also URL content import to immediately load an article and check its optimization.
NLP keywords can be exported to Excel and then used for content writing:
Too bad you can’t copy individual keywords directly from the browser yet, but I think they’ll add that later too.

Plus a keyword clusterer for analyzed terms. The base plan at $59 includes 5k keywords, which I think is a lot 🙂

I grabbed the $59 tier for now just to have it. I think they’ll keep developing it. AppSumo is always a gamble and a startup, but later the investment in the service might pay off.
