- Sometimes I need to transcribe YouTube videos into text. I tested all the well-known services and selected the best ones for myself.
- 1. podcasteditor.streamlabs.com — THIS IS WHAT I need for youtube video — so far, it’s the best of all for me and the price is good too.
- 2. sonix.ai is very solid
- 3. descript.com makes paragraphs and translates smartly
- All other services are significantly worse:
- app.trint.com is expensive and offers nothing new
- speechtext.ai also translates worse, but creates line breaks
- amberscript.com uses the same engine as sonix.ai, but is inconvenient for editing
- otter.ai is much better and prettier, and the price is great, but punctuation is so-so
- vocalmatic.com sucks
- veed.io sucks
- happyscribe.com sucks
- maestrasuite.com sucks
- speedscriber.com sucks
- ebby.co sucks
- spread.software sucks
- konch.ai — expensive. $29 for the plan alone
- go-transcribe.com — very expensive at $12 per hour.
- audext.com — very expensive at $12 per hour
- wavel.ai — glitched on Russian. Translated something completely wrong.
