We all know that link building should be done naturally and gradually. Apparently, this guy didn’t get the memo and simply built about 300 links in the very first month.
A green candle shooting up. Traffic started growing.

The strategy: high-authority PBNs. About 40 of them. The rest is camouflage for show, like crowd links. Primitive text on the homepage, WordPress engine on all PBNs. Walls of text with a link embedded—Indians might even build better PBNs. But who cares? The main thing is that there are results.
He probably spent more on links than on the content itself. One of the pages currently gets 45k traffic according to Ahrefs. And this is where you need to sit down and do the math carefully. Either have lots of pages with moderate traffic and rank through narrow relevance, or join the race for high-volume «best» keywords with 10–15k search volume by buying high-tier links at $1,000 apiece. Decide for yourself 😉
