I’ve tried many options over the past year. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend anyone in Armenia yet (things didn’t quite work out there), but Georgia once again turned out to be top-1 for my needs.
Here is what this jurisdiction offers that makes it so interesting:
- Individual Entrepreneur tax is just 1% of turnover with minimal reporting — ideal for IT and other service/digital ventures without physical goods turnover
- best banking for RU/BY/Israel/Turkey passports without discrimination or caveats; cards in popular currencies without extra conversions; SWIFT payments with zero problems or delays
- smooth operation with Binance P2P and similar platforms; pulling liquidity in any direction or country is no problem
- PayPal deposit/withdrawal set up with a Georgian sole proprietorship + local SIM card works fine too, if that matters to anyone
- optional options with a banker and remote service contract: I got this for myself since it comes with unlimited airport lounge access via card as a bonus
For legal and banking matters, I resolved everything with @Alexander_Nishakov and his Georgian colleague: the guys are business-minded and have been delivering results for years with respect and understanding of the client’s time, without unnecessary legal fluff, suits, or paid consultations for every breath.
If Georgia seems like a good fit for doing business, it’s better not to delay, as the banking situation changes periodically. One nuance: banks aren’t keen on remote account openings, so you need to show up in Tbilisi for at least 1 business day. Everything works right now, with no queues and decent ticket prices.
