I placed bids on GoDaddy Auctions 5 days in advance. As a reminder, GoDaddy auctions preserve the domain’s original registration date, which some consider an advantage. I can’t give a definitive answer on that yet.

In total, over 5 days, I bid on 70 domains and won 5 of them—that’s less than a 10% win rate. My approach is to find an optimal price and rely on volume, hoping that competitors skip a bid.
