Sometimes Google just doesn’t like a domain and it fails to index or rank properly. Google doesn’t catch on to the content or realize a masterpiece was created. Google is selfish, and we need money.
In such cases, a redirect helps.
For example, here was a site whose peak traffic was 5k per month: smarthealthyliving.com

They redirected it to a new domain, fitterliving.com, and it’s already hit 17k per month

Another scenario is when things are already pretty good—50k monthly traffic—but you want more gold.

This is the story of securitybaron.com
They bought the domain security.org with a ton of high-authority backlinks on board and redirected to it. I reckon security.org easily could have cost $100k or more.
The result: 200k traffic instead of 50k:

They’re recouping their investment.
Links on top of links—yields more traffic.
It’s like stack on stack, only cooler 🙂
