A Handy Little Secret

Instead of the Really Simple SSL plugin for WordPress, it’s enough to add this to the top of wp-config.php:

$_SERVER["HTTPS"] = "on";

And that’s it — HTTPS is enabled, and requests from the HTTP version are redirected. No extra plugin needed.
