King of DOORWAYS, Nice to Meet You

There’s an old saying: the early bird gets the worm. In this case, it applies heavily to translated doorway sites.

Baseline data

We have a doorway site that even has public LiveInternet stats, and you can see that for 3 YEARS it has consistently brought traffic to its owner while they generate passive income online, relaxing in Bali or Europe.

So, our example is optolov.ru

Stats are public—https://www.liveinternet.ru/stat/optolov.ru/index.html?period=month

It recently crossed 1.5 million monthly traffic, and considering we’re looking at just one such doorway, and it’s easy to dig around and find others, it all looks very enticing.

Anyone trying to replicate this now will just be playing catch-up, which isn’t the same, so if there’s a working method, you need to squeeze it dry as much as possible.

I find all these examples at the top of search results, so analyzing the top rankings is a very useful practice for ideas. An endless treasure trove of interesting cases.

Here’s a specific site that has been bringing in income for several years, and the most enticing part is that NOTHING was spent on content).

And monetization has been running like this for 3 years. Even Amazon affiliate sites are less stable than this doorway, yet people polish them, invest money, and carefully curate products to sell!

So for us webmasters in this scenario, we don’t need to work hard—we need to work smart, testing ideas, and if they don’t work, testing new ones. Right now I’ve switched to 10 doorways per idea. If something doesn’t hit, I come up with a new one. I’ve already tested over a dozen hypotheses and I hope that after numerous screw-ups I’ll find a really interesting idea that yields results, because frankly I’m exhausted with doorways already 🙈

Someone suggested removing a curse from my computer, because that’s probably the real cause. Now I’m actually contemplating this offer…
