Hong Kong Company — Another Fuckup

Opened a company a year ago to accept international payments, but in the end, the bank didn’t open an account for me. Spent $1k on this. They offered options starting from $5k to open a bank account, but it makes no sense since cheaper alternatives exist.

Now, since it’s unneeded, I’m forced to dissolve it, and they’re asking another $1.5k for that. I read up on dissolution—you can’t just abandon it and walk away—so I’m wondering if it’s worth paying. Maybe someone can give sound advice. Throwing $2.5k down the drain hurts for the whole ordeal. Stupid experience🤪

UPDATE: $2100 for dissolution.
