Dropped Domains for Traffic vs. Link Equity

Right now, I split dropped domains into two categories:

  • Those that can quickly generate traffic. A live drop that is still in Google. Faster indexing, faster ranking. This is clearly visible in my newly launched network. Google responds faster.
  • Those that pass more link equity. PBNs. Here I select domains with links pointing to the homepage, and later sell links from it as well, to get maximum authority from the donor.

Ideally, you’d want a powerful drop with existing traffic, but we live in the real world where such drops are expensive ($1k–$2k), so at scale, you have to strike a balance between these two parameters.

Traffic and domain metrics are the two currencies of a domain.
