I’ve accumulated statistics on a bunch of satellite sites. Sharing with you. The satellites have generated content: imported once and forgotten. They are mostly used for link building for white-hat projects.
Overall, I’ve concluded that content fully kicks in after about 12 months on a new site in Google and reaches its peak. Faster in some cases, slower in others. If a site hasn’t taken off after six months, it can pretty much be discarded)

If you’re going to build sites on fresh domains now, full content performance takes me about 12 months to hit its peak. Provided there are backlinks to the domain. Every domain has backlinks (100–500 referring domains), no brand-new zeroes.
