I decided to buy some PBN links. Thought I’d check out what the market has to offer.
I haven’t seen such a massive volume of low-quality websites being sold on the market in a long time. Ranking anything with this… well, I don’t know. Maybe it’s possible… Anything is possible, but for that kind of money, these links are remarkably weak.
Take a pinned thread on BHW, for instance:
For example, the number of referring domains isn’t specified. And that’s actually one of the better offers.
Now take a top-rated offer from Sherlock:
Random social bookmarks, profile links, Web 2.0s that everyone is blasting around. I don’t know, I just don’t see ranking sites in the top results using these «super» links.
Mostly it’s link pyramids built of low-tier links, Web 2.0s, some social signals, and press releases.
Reasonable Link Vendors

Good Links Are Really Expensive

Let me sort by referring domains:
So 1 link per month will cost anywhere from $56 to $93!
Let me take another vendor https://www.seoclerk.com/user/pbngeek
1 link costs $15 per month, which means 50 PBN links would run me $750/month! And even then, there’s no guarantee I’ll rank at the top with that amount, but I’d still have to pay $750 every single month!
And another thing that annoys me—no, absolutely infuriates me—is their giant graphic sales pitches. For example:
Some superheroes. Did I walk into a toy store to buy the Hulk? It’s just childish nonsense.
There are hundreds of these threads. Almost everyone offers junk without specifying clear parameters.
They sometimes write High DR, High DA, but don’t specify how high it actually is.
So I’m supposed to buy a link from them just because they wrote «High DA». And there are literally hundreds of such offers.
It’s better when they write Average DR 25. That’s at least somewhat acceptable. But best of all is when they clearly specify DR 25+.
Building Your Own Network Is More Cost-Effective
Overall, I’ve shared the vendor list, so you can decide for yourself whether to buy this kind of stuff or not. I’m disappointed with the quality of offers on the market.
I calculated that building your own network is better: you get superior control, plus over a span of a few years, it completely pays off. So when I buy a PBN domain for $300–$500, I understand that’s a reasonable price for that level of quality—since buying those links on the open market costs a pretty penny.
