- Trust (not all sites index well and bring traffic with more or less the same content. A hidden domain factor). Pure random luck at work.
- Uniqueness (whether you’re doing something different from others; you don’t necessarily have to reinvent the wheel, but some hook or difference in content). If you use the same doorway content that’s already ranking at the top, what traffic can you even expect?)
- Niche focus (for some reason, general websites covering everything perform poorly for me; there are isolated examples in top rankings where niche focus doesn’t matter, but I haven’t been able to make that work).
